November Update & Two Things
Washington Elementary Families —
Thank you for your continued support! We’ve nearly completed our first trimester of the school year. It has really gone by quickly for me! We have maintained our attendance goal. Thank you for striving to have your child at school and on time each day. Regular and consistent attendance really does establish a pattern for success! Thank you for supporting our school and teachers by having your child here at school each day!
THING ONE: Dixie Direct books are now available for purchase in our school office. The books are $40 each. If you typically purchase a Dixie Direct book please purchase one at our school. Help spread the word to friends and neighbors as well, anyone can purchase a Dixie Direct book from our school! Books are also available for purchase online @ https://www.dixiedirectcard.com/schools/washingtonelementary/
THING TWO: Our school participates in the BTS Art program and has a certified teacher (Mrs. Nygaard) teaching art to every student at our school each week. We’ve been asked to share a short survey regarding the program with our parents. Here is a note and link to the survey from BTS:
Hello parents and guardians!
On behalf of the Utah State Board of Education and Art Works for Kids, we are seeking your input on the Beverley Taylor Sorenson Arts Learning Program (BTS Arts) via a brief survey. The mission of BTS Arts is to provide high-quality arts learning and arts-integrated experiences for every child in Utah.
As a parent or guardian of a child enrolled in a BTS Arts school, we need your input to help us continue to realize this mission! No matter how much you know about BTS Arts, we invite you to complete a 10-minute survey at this link to share your thoughts on the program and ways we might better connect with parents. Please complete the survey by Friday, November 15. If you would like to learn more about BTS Arts, please visit the website at btsarts.org and feel free to contact Lisa Cluff at: moc.puorgnosneroseht@asil with any questions.
Thank you!
