THING 1: We’re excited to invite parents and students to attend our upcoming Family Literacy Night. Students should come in their PJs ready to have some fun in the gym with our Admin Team (Mr. Baker & Mr. Urry). Parents plan to rotate through three different learning stations – Grade level station (classroom) taught by our teachers on how to help your child read at home – Literacy Team (Library) station where parents will learn more ways to help find reading success at home – Tech Strategies station (Computer Lab) where our school counselors will help parents learn more about internet and technology safety and best practices.
Classes will be brief and very helpful for parents! The evening will wrap up with Pizza in the gym! Get this date on your calendar! We look forward to seeing each of you there!
THING 2: Dixie Direct Books are now available for purchase in our school office. If you typically purchase a book, please consider buying through our school. Let your family and friends know as well. Each book helps our school!!
