Meet Mrs. Thomas
My name is Misty Thomas, and I am the counselor at Washington Elementary School. As a school counselor, my job is to set the tone for students to begin developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary for them to become healthy, competent, and confident learners.
Through a comprehensive developmental school counseling program, I work as a team with parents, school staff, and the community to create a caring climate and atmosphere. By providing education, prevention, early identification and intervention, I can help all children to achieve academic success and reach their full potential.
