October 2025 – Update

Washington Eagle Families!

We are really enjoying the beautiful fall weather and celebrating the good growth that our students have been experiencing so far this school year. We’ve recently been reviewing student progress as a school staff and we’re excited to see how much our students are growing and progressing! Thanks for supporting your student and always encouraging them to give their very best efforts at school.

I have a few important items to review with you:

  1. SAFETY: Drop Off & Pick Up – Please review the attached School Map. Only pick up students in designated areas. Be extra cautious as you drive on our school grounds or other streets near our school. Pull forward if you are in the pick up line. If you would like to exit your vehicle and pick up your child, park in a designated parking stall. Don’t park in areas that would clog exits. Please always be kind and patient!
  2. BOOKFAIR! Our school librarian is hosting a scholastic book fair during the week of Oct 27~31. It will be open each day before and after school. Family night is Oct 30 from 5~6pm. Also available online: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/washingtonelementaryschool82
  3. Attendance: On Time All Day – Please continue to do all you can to have your student attend school each day and to not be checked out early if possible. 
  4. Tan’s Treats: We are again being supported this year by Tan’s Treats. If you would like more information or have your child to participate please stop by our office to complete the enrollment forms (also available on our school homepage)
